21 Gift Ideas for Fathers day from Black Owned Businesses

With so much turmoil in recent days, we all see the importance of loving, cherishing and celebrating our loved ones; especially our black men. With Father’s Day just around the corner it’s the perfect opportunity to show love while also showing support to another important cause; Black lives matter.

As a black woman, with a black husband, and 2 black children, it’s important to me that I support in anyway that I can. One of those ways is buy supporting the businesses that directly serve and teach them. These businesses not only cater to the black community, but to others. There are so many new products and businesses that I was surprised to see over the past week and I want to be more proactive in sharing with my audience.

Father’s day seemed like a great way to continue the conversation. Because it lands on day 21, I thought it would be fun to highlight 21 great gift ideas for the father or special men in your life. All of the suggested are all from either black owned designers, retailers or business owners. However, this does not mean they only cater to African-american males; they can be enjoyed by all races. I also connected most of them to the direct retailer so the profit will be received directly. I’m sure you will find some great options to make a perfect Father’s day gift.

Books

Dear Black Men is a window into our souls. It requires us to ask the hard questions, place ourselves in a Black man’s shoes, listen to understand, acknowledge our behavior, atone for our short-sightedness, and begin again with clarity and true understanding.

Steve Harvey tells you how to achieve your dreams using the gift you already have. He explains how that gift is your greatest chance of success and fulfilling your purpose, and is yours alone.
