Now that we’ve decked our halls and trimmed the tree, it’s on to continue in the holiday festivities. Many have switched to hanging Christmas balls on the tree to waiting for the big ball to drop on New Year’s Eve. The holidays are still in full effect which means the festive outfits should continue on. Whether you are hitting the town; be safe because Omricon is acting as the Grinch this season, or staying in; you can still look fabulous. Whether you are gathering with friends or spending a fun night in at home watching television, I’ve got you covered. Dressing up makes many of us feel alive and special; and let’s face it; these days just being alive is an occasion worth celebrating. Here’s a roundup of some great New Year’s Eve outfits you can dazzle in this season.
Dresses are literally my favorite article of clothing because they’re a one stop shop for any occasion. There’s no fuss of having to try and piece together a look; which can sometimes be overwhelming. A great sparkly, mini or velvet dress is perfect for New Years Eve. Take a look at some of these show stopping dresses perfect for the occasion.
Not into dresses; there are plenty of fabulous separates to rock out with for the evening. A jumpsuit is the equvalent of a great dress in pant form. You can also take a statement top or skirt and pair with something a bit more simple. Here are a few of my faves.
For those of us who may already have a great foundation with a dress or top, accessories are a great way to add in the sparkle and shine. A sparkly statement necklace or earring can certainly transform a simple black dress into you being the life of the party. Headbands are still all the rage right now and the blingier (I may have made up this word) the better. Here are a few fun accessories to make your New Year’s eve look stand out.
Whatever you choose to do this New Years Eve, look fabulous; but most importantly be safe. Happy New Year fashionistas.
