I know in content world, Fall is all the rave. We’ve started to see transitional looks, and the likes of leathers, suedes, browns and gorgeous Fall tones. Although Fall is absolutely my favorite season; in regards to fashion and weather, I am still not quite ready for summer to end. I still have so many outfits that haven’t been worn and still am shopping for last minute pieces.
Although I am also shopping for Fall, shopping off season is one of my best kept secrets. This is the best time to shop for next Spring and Summer, when prices are slashed upwards of 80 and 90 percent off. Why? Because no one is thinking about summer anymore. We’ve all been bombarded with new season styles and colors. Well this is when I do some of my best shopping, and you should consider it too.
Here are a few tips to consider. Try and buy classic peices. Because you won’t be able tO wear it until next Spring or Summer, you want to make sure it’s not too trendy where you possibly won’t love it next season. Also, shop for transitional pieces. Just because it’s and end of summer sale doesn’t mean there are only summer items. You can find lots of styles that’s can be worn throughout Fall and Winter like coats and boots. Lastly, don’t just buy it because it’s on sale. I am guilty of this too, but have learned that just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean you always need it. Try to purchase items you’ve had your eye on all summer and now the price is just right, or styles you absolutely love!
