I think we all have acquired several pieces over the seasons from the fast fashion retailer; but this season they are so on point. There are so many swoon worthy and fresh versatile pieces that are sure to have people asking “Girl where’d you get that?”. I called myself going in to leisurely browse, which after a few short hours, turned into me leaving with 2 large shopping bags full of goodies. My wallet was definitely saying ” Girl, bye” but my wardrobe was definitely like hello gorgeous! I undoubtedly spent too much time in the store (a few hours according to my son who regretted his decision to tag along post mall trip). But I always want to make sure I don’t miss anything; which works in your favor since I’ve done all the scouring for you. White for the Win
White is a major must have for summer in my book. It instantly adds a glow and always gives a polished and clean look. White just has a way of looking expensive and is a great option for summer vibes. My entire outfit above, ( Shirt, skirt and shoes featured below, the blazer is last season) minus the bag are scores from Zara. They have so many styles this season, many that are inexpensive. Organza Bananza
The Spanish retailer has been featuring a lot of stylish and flirty styles in this underrepresented fabric. Organza is usually associated a lot with fancier occasions and apparel and I love that they have breached the taboo by making wearable styles for everyday. My love affair with their organza pieces started with a leopard (ya’ll know my obsession) pussybow blouse I spotted over the holidays. I couldn’t bring myself to spend the $70 for the shirt, but was absolutely in love. I figured I would wait for their mid-season sale and scoop it up then. Well I was sadly mistaken. It sold out; so when they reintroduced it for spring/summer I just couldn’t let this catastrophe happen to me a second time. I purchased a fun emerald green and this fuschia one; both to die for. Do me a solid and please snag yourself at least one piece; it will take you from day to night. Pair with jeans during the day or a fun leather skirt for evening. Accessories and Shoes
We all know Zara is known for a good affordable accessory to snazz up your wardrobe. I think they have a good balance of trendy and more classic styles, other than the over saturated Cult Gaia arc bag or the barely there sandal that we’ve seen way too many times on Instagram. There are so many to choose from but I always try to select unique styles that can punch up any outfit, even jeans and a tee shirt. I feel like those 3 months of summer slide by so fast so you want to keep it fun and fresh. Most likely you’ll be over it next year so no need to look for classic pieces. Now these are all just pieces I’m LOVING. I didn’t make a special category outlining their awesome features and benefits; just thought they needed to be included. There were literally soooo many items I wanted to add to my cart, but the way my bank account is set up (In my Kevin Hart voice)….
