Chocolate brown has definitely been major on my radar this Fall. I love my camels and nudes, but there’s just something about a deep rich chocolate tone right about now. Years back you couldn’t catch me in this color. I guess I always thought it was too deep of a color for my darker skin tone. However, I’m so glad I decided to give it another look. Chocolate brown not only looks great on darker skin tones, but pretty much everyone. That being said, it’s a must this season. Lord knows I love a good sweater dress. It’s a one stop shop, making it super simple to get dressed while leaving you in full chic mode. Try an all monochromatic look by pairing the same color(or tone) in shoe. Or pick a contrasting neutral like white or black to add a little sophisticated flair.

Faux leather is so on trend this season and literally popping up everywhere. Be sure while you’re checking out this trend in colors like black and camel, you add chocolate brown to the list. This will give a somewhat softer edge than black and warm up any neutral tones paired with it. For a little extra flair, try an embossed style like croc.

Boots, boots and more boots, what can I say. We all know boots are a fall essential, but in chocolate brown they’re sublime. The rich color just provides such a sleek yet versatile look. Another great feature is that brown tends to match nearly every color. It’s a great alternative to black as it’s not as harsh as black can be at times; but still just as sharp. One thing to consider is to not take the cheap route with this style. Go for a nice quality leather or embossed style like snakeskin or croc for a more luxe look.
