If you guys have been rocking with me for a little bit, then you know I’m always willing to share the scoop on the best deals. I love mixing high and low, but let’s be real; who doesn’t want to score the high for the low. And one of my favorite designer items to score a deal on are shoes. I for one believe you can never own too many shoes; especially when you score them for a steal. Sales are a great way to feed my shoe appetite without going hungry in real life. I’m dishing on all my favorite online sites that I frequent to find the best designer shoes on sale.
Net-A-Porter:
This is probably my most favorite site to shop for shoes. They are an online luxury site, fairly new, and always have great selection and stock. They hold two sales per year, a winter and summer sale when all of their inventory gets marked down up to 80 percent off. I think I’ve purchased the majority of my designer shoes during these sales. The best idea is to snag what you want at the beginning of the sale as things sell out rather quickly. Towards the end of the sale they always present an additional 20 percent off the lowest price, but by this time most of the good stuff is gone. However, still check it out, as you may luck out from someone returning. These Alexander Wangs (pictured above) were my latest score from Net -a- Porter for nearly 70 percent off! Another fave are these Sophia Webster’s I purchased a couple years ago for 70 percent off. I have also found Guisseppi Zanottis, Jaquemus, Nicholas Kirkwood and so many more in my sale stalking.
The Outnet:
This site is the sister company to Net-A-Porter so you know its legit. With this being more of an outlet type, they usually house past seasons merchandise that didn’t sell from Net- a Porter. This means limited sizes (whatever is left pretty much) and random selection. You never know what you are going to come across here but its a good place to start if you missed the boat on a past style you wanted. What I love is that the prices are fairly discounted to begin with; most around 60-80 percent. And periodically they also hold extra percentages on top of the massive deals. Right now they are having an extra 40 percent on select styles. Check out some great finds below!
The RealReal: This is a site people normally associate with buying consigned luxury bags, but newsflash; they also have shoes. Now this is also hit or miss but sometimes you can score some great deals. This is a great place to look for designers that don’t ever hold sales on their products; such as Louis Vuitton. Another pro is they sometimes sell new items, however, they are usually not a popular or sought after style. When shopping just pay attention to the wear of the items since they are used. You want to make sure you are okay with any marks or wear it may have, no matter how low the price. I scored these Mui Mui platforms for around $100.
My Theresa, Farfetch, Fwrd: The sites are pretty similar. I have shopped on all three for designer shoes. They usually have a great selection and are also discounted a great amount. Fwrd usually holds discounts on top of discounts but it’s not often. Check back regularly on these sites as they often add new items to sale. Also some of these are foreign so make sure to see if the item ships to your country.
Farfetch
MyTheresa:
YOOX:
Ive recently discovered this site, but their selection is huge. Also a company of Net-a-Porter (hmmm notice a pattern here) they have various levels of designers so you can usually find great price points. This is also a site that has random styles. Don’t expect to find items of the latest season here. But if you’re like me, and like to find unique and different shoes, this is the place to be. However, because they are one off styles, sizing is limited. However, they do list sizes available on the browse page which is a hge time and sanity saver. This way you don’t get your hopes up for nothing; clicking on your new found love just to find your size is sold out!
Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom:
Okay so I normally don’t do too much shopping in department stores but it’s always worth a look. This is probably last on my list because I find some of the styles offered online to be more old fashioned. You usually have to shop in store or with a sales associate to find the good stuff. But still give it a gander. Both Neiman’s and Sak’s are under the same company so you usually may find the same items but different prices, so be sure to check both sites. But the point is, you can score MAJOR discounts here. when you do fid something the price is incredible. I’ve scored Loubiton So Kates for $200, my wedding shoes which were Guiseppe Zanottis marked from $1500 to $500 and these Aquazzura boots marked down from $1700 to $300.
So to all my shoe snobs, I hope this has helped. Remember to shop these sites reguarly and check back as they often add new styles to sale regularly. And so you never miss a beat, make sure you are subscribed to their newsletters. This is how I am the first to know of sales; sometimes exclusive offers for members only. I simply don’t see myself slowing down in the shoe lane anytime soon and I hope you’re walking by my side; in some fab shoes of course!

Thank you Angela Baltimore! I am definitely obsessed with shoes! High, med and low end. If I like them, I buy them. I just can’t seem to find space to store over 300 pairs of shoes!! I like the resale value you mentioned. I think that may be my next step!
